Currently Working On

You can expect these features soon:

  • Smarter AI suggestions when creating tasks - quick add already understands dates in plain language; next, it will suggest the priority, role and time estimate from what you type.

  • Native reminder push notifications for Android and iOS devices, delivering timely and personalized updates directly to your mobile, ensuring you're always in the loop wherever you go.

September 8, 2026

Tasks created from e-mail or Slack now appear in your planner instantly, without refreshing the page — a small notification tells you a new task has arrived and where it went. We also fixed a few cases where the app could lose its live connection after a minute and silently stop updating.

September 4, 2026

Zapier integration — you can now build Zaps without leaving Week Plan. Go to Team settings → Integrations → Zapier and connect Week Plan to thousands of other apps: create tasks from form submissions, e-mails, CRM events and more. Available on plans that include the API.

August 20, 2026

Create tasks by e-mail, straight into the right list. Send a message to [email protected] and the task lands in the list with that name. If the address is wrong or ambiguous, you now get a reply explaining exactly what to fix instead of silence. Imported e-mails are also cleaner — mail-client signatures and quoted replies no longer leak into the task.

Alongside this, the Inbox and drag-and-drop reordering got noticeably faster on larger workspaces, and the Journal unread indicator no longer slows down the app over time.

August 11, 2026

  • Pending invitations — Team settings now lists everyone you have invited who hasn't joined yet, and admins can cancel an invitation with one click.
  • Trial users are now offered an upgrade on day 3 of the trial instead of at a random moment.
  • Fixed: typing a date word in a task title no longer overrides the date you picked in the calendar.
  • Fixed: dragging a scheduled task into the backlog now correctly clears its date.
  • Fixed: time tracked on a brand-new task was sometimes lost, and new tasks occasionally showed an hour already logged.
  • Fixed: High Impact Tasks losing their week after an objective was deleted.

July 28, 2026

Week Plan now speaks more languages. French, Spanish, German, Portuguese and Polish translations are complete across the whole app, and we added Hindi and Bengali. Every remaining English-only label has been translated.

July 24, 2026

A new Edit Task panel. Task details are now organized into clear sections — Schedule, Priority and Organize — with a dedicated High Impact Task toggle and a Save/Cancel bar that stays visible while you scroll. The panel is fully usable on phones.

More in this release:

  • Keyboard shortcuts cheatsheet — press ? anywhere to see every shortcut. Mac keys are supported.
  • Quick add understands dates. Type "call John tomorrow" or "report friday" and the task lands on the right day. Ctrl+Enter saves and immediately starts another task.
  • A week progress summary now sits in the schedule header.
  • Deleting one occurrence of a repeating task no longer deletes the whole series.
  • Expired sessions now log you out cleanly instead of freezing the tab.
  • Dark mode fixes: icons, checkboxes and dropdowns now follow the theme correctly.
  • Login: the code field for two-factor authentication accepts one-time codes from your phone's keyboard and autofill.

July 16, 2026

Mobile experience overhaul. The add-task menu is now a bottom sheet, every button and tap target was enlarged for thumbs, forms no longer trigger zoom on iOS, pickers open above the edit panel instead of behind it, and the chat launcher no longer covers the planner on phones. The onboarding wizard and Upgrade page were also cleaned up for small screens. A new Week Plan "W" loading animation replaces the old spinner.

July 8, 2026

Faster and safer. Loading your week, the Inbox and task lists is now much quicker, and adding, assigning or completing a task no longer waits for the notification e-mail to be sent. This release also closes several security issues found during an external code audit.

May 22, 2026

New onboarding. New users are welcomed by a redesigned wizard: pick who you are (student, manager, coach, freelancer…), choose your roles, and Week Plan uses AI to generate a starter plan with suggested roles and goals so the first week is never empty. The login and sign-up screens got a matching refresh.

April 13, 2026

  • Ideal Week — rebuilt with a new "Now" view that shows what your ideal week says you should be doing at this moment.
  • Fixed saving of settings and inconsistent button sizes across the Settings pages.

Excuse Killer is here — one of the most requested features from our productivity-focused users, and we're thrilled to finally ship it.

Introducing AI Excuse Killer — a feature designed to turn procrastination into immediate action. Instead of helping you come up with excuses, it does the opposite: it identifies when a task feels overwhelming, delivers a direct motivational push, and instantly breaks the task into small, actionable steps you can start right away. You can regenerate suggestions or add your own subtasks, making it easy to move from thinking to doing. The result is less overthinking, fewer excuses, and faster execution—just enter a task and start moving.

We shipped a full layout refresh across Week Plan — the most comprehensive visual and structural overhaul since the app launched.

The update touches nearly every surface of the interface: the sidebar has been rebuilt from scratch with a cleaner hierarchy, collapsible sections, and faster access to your most-used views. The main planning canvas now breathes more, with improved spacing, sharper typography, and a refined color system that reduces visual noise and puts your tasks front and center.

Navigation has been made more consistent and predictable. Whether you're moving between the weekly view, inbox, OKR module, or settings, the transitions are now smoother and the context is preserved — no more losing your scroll position or accidentally closing a task you were editing.

The mobile experience received particular attention. On smaller screens, the layout now adapts more gracefully, with touch targets sized for real-world use, a redesigned bottom navigation bar, and a new compact task card format that lets you see more of your week at a glance without sacrificing readability.

Performance was also part of the story. The rebuild included a significant reduction in render overhead, resulting in faster initial load times and noticeably snappier interactions across all devices — especially on mid-range Android hardware.

The refresh is designed to feel familiar to long-time users while being immediately more polished for newcomers. We paid close attention to accessibility throughout, improving contrast ratios, keyboard navigation, and screen reader compatibility across the app.

This is the foundation for everything we're building in 2026 — and there is a lot more to come.

The Vision page was completely rebuilt to deliver a cleaner, more modern layout and significantly improved performance. The new structure enhances usability, simplifies navigation, and creates a more intuitive overall experience. Calendar view improvements were introduced, including enhanced navigation controls, clearer date and event visualization, better spacing and alignment, and more consistent interaction behavior. These updates make it easier to browse schedules, identify key items, and manage planning workflows efficiently.

Offline state handling was also significantly improved. The system now provides clearer feedback when connectivity is lost, better preserves user actions performed offline, and ensures smoother synchronization once the connection is restored. These enhancements increase reliability and reduce the risk of lost changes during unstable network conditions.
